The Good and the Bad.
The good side of the coin is that the welder is quite affordable for those who are just into simple DIY and home repair. For those who absolutely need a flux core welding machine then this is a cheaper alternative to have. It is quite easy to operate and there are a ton of settings and options to tweak on this awesome little welder.
The downside is that the welder is quite ambiguous with its foreign language customer support and manuals, which can be a slight turn-off for some people but not when you just want a decent welder that really works the way you want it to. It is also not as good as bigger welders for when you want to expand your horizons for bigger and harder welding projects and tasks to work upon, so it is just ideal for the smaller scale DIY projects.
Overall.
Overall, if you are not super picky and you only need something for small to medium sized welding projects then the Lotos MIG140 MIG Flux Core Welder is a good buy. The price is under $400, which is half the price of the big name brands like Lincoln, Hobart, and Miller. It is something that can be in between DIY and professional use due to the flux core and MIG combination features that do not compromise the quality altogether.
